multimedia propusa de Florin Bobu, realizata sub forma unor radiatoare-obiect
dispuse intr-un format minimalist care comunica cu actiunea performativa din
filmul video, se constituie intr-un demers critic care conecteaza o situatie
actuala la trecutul tratamentului vietii de zi cu zi din perioada ceausista. </span><span style="font-size: 11pt;font-family: Arial;" lang="FR">In
plina iarna, caloriferul devenea obiectul unei relatii obsesive conditionata
afectiv de controlul administrativ al corpului. Se poate reconstitui un trecut
care ar redeschide o arhiva emotionala a suferintei si a depasirii ei?<br>
Lucrarile propuse de artist se aplica sub forma unui comentariu subversiv a
unei situatii anormale pe care am trait-o unii dintre noi cu aproape 20 de ani
in urma. Relatia speciala cu caloriferul sau cu simulacrul acestuia este
definita printr-o grija obsesiva fata de dispozitivul ce putea, la momentul
acela, subtitui o multitudine de nevoi si implicit de a crea o stare de
plenitudine.</span><span lang="FR"></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10pt;font-family: Arial;" lang="FR"> <br>
Florin BOBU este nascut si traieste la Tecuci. A absolvit Facultatea de Arte
Vizuale si Design (AKI) din Enschede (Olanda) in 2005. A participat la o serie
de evenimente de arta din Rotterdam, Munster si Antwerpen.</span><span lang="FR"></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 10pt;font-family: Arial;" lang="FR">Expozitia
va putea vizionata pana pe 30 ianuarie de luni pana vineri intre orele 11 - 15.</span><span lang="FR"></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 9pt;font-family: Arial;">Expozitia este parte a proiectului
curatorial "PERSONAL LOCAL SETTINGS. Tineri artisti in context", o
serie de evenimente de arta contemporana produse in cadrul proiectului de
cultura sociala cARTier finantat de </span><span style="font-size: 9pt;font-family: Arial;color: black;" lang="FR">Programul Cultural Elvetian
in Romania - Pro Helvetia SDC.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 9pt;font-family: Arial;">Proiectul <span style="color: black;">"PERSONAL
LOCAL SETTINGS"</span> este gandit in directia (in)formarii unei platforme
de promovare a artei tinerilor artisti ieseni in contextul necesitatii de a
scana, a inregistra si, eventual, a reconfigura noile moduri de situare, de
creativitate si de comunicare ale generatiei tinere. </span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 9pt;font-family: Arial;">Incepand cu sfarsitul lunii octombrie
2006, pana spre finalul lunii februarie 2007, Galeria Vector organizeaza o
serie de evenimente de arta contemporana avand ca invitati tineri artisti
locali interesati sa isi expuna punctele de vedere asupra conditiilor
producerii relatiilor lor cu diferite sisteme fata de care isi seteaza

The multi-media installation proposed by Florin Bobu, displaying a series of
objects-radiators in a minimalist format which is communicating with the
performative action of the video film, it's constituting into a critical
approach which connects an actual situation to the treatment of everyday life
in Ceausescu's period. In full winter, the heater became the object of an
obsessive relation, affective conditioned by the administrative control of the
body. There could be any re-enactment of the past which could re-open an
emotional archive of suffering and its overtaking?<br>
The works proposed by the artist are applied as subversive commentary on an
abnormal situation lived by some of us almost 20 years ago. The special
relation with the heater or with its simulacrum is defined by an obsessive care
for this device which, in that moment, could substitute a multitude of needs
and, implicitly, could create a state of fulfillment. </span></p>

curatorial project "PERSONAL LOCAL SETTINGS. Young artists in
context", a series of contemporary art events produced in the frame of the
social culture project cARTier, supported by Swiss Cultural Program in Romania
- Pro Helvetia SDC.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 9pt;font-family: Arial;">The <span style="color: black;">"PERSONAL
LOCAL SETTINGS"</span></span><span style="font-family: Arial;"> </span><span style="font-size: 9pt;font-family: Arial;">project is intending to
(in)form a promotion platform for the art of the young artists from Iasi, in
the context of the necessity to scan, to record and, eventually, to re-frame
new ways for situation, for creativity and for communication of the young
generation.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 9pt;font-family: Arial;">Starting from the end of October 2006
to the end of February 2007, Vector Gallery is organizing a series of
contemporary art events inviting local young artists who are interested to
display their points of view on the condition of relation production regarding
their positioning to different systems in relation with whom they are setting their
own personal options.</span></p>
