diskurs 07 is a festival for young art from Europe, with the emphasis <br>
on the performing arts. It is open for various forms of theatre, <br>
dance, performance, installation, music, literature, film and video. <br>
diskurs 07 looks for works that reflect and question their efficacy <br>
in social and political reality. diskurs 07 is all about <br>
investigating and researching non-established forms of artistic <br>
activity. diskurs 07 is interested in experiments. <br>
diskurs 07 offers young artists and cultural workers a platform to <br>
present their artistic approaches and working methods in order to put <br>
them up for discussion. Facilities such as reading rooms, panel <br>
discussions and public debates foster the constructive exchange of <br>
all those who take part in the festival. In this way, diskurs 07 <br>
wants to provide a base for cooperation and networking. Therefore the <br>
artists and guests taking part are present throughout the entire <br>
festival week. <br>
diskurs 07 explores the subject of twilight.<br>
To what extent can twilight be practiced as an attitude for artistic <br>
activity? Which unknown scopes surface when day gives way to night? <br>
How can one trust ones own perception in the twilight? How do we cope <br>
with the fact that our ability to distinguish is impaired? Can <br>
twilight prove that other concepts are possible as well? <br>
Twilight should be understood as a suggestion. diskurs 07 looks for <br>
questions emerging from the confrontation of various artistic <br>
approaches with the common subject of twilight. This opens up the <br>
field on which diskurs 07 can take place. <br>
diskurs 07 takes care of travelling expenses, transport charges and <br>
