bucură că face parte din reţeaua <STRONG><SPAN
style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial">Festivalului Internaţional al Filmelor de
Foarte Scurt Metraj</SPAN></STRONG> şi de a face din Timişoara unul dintre
cele 70 de oraşe participante la acest festival.<BR><BR>Acest festival
este rezultatul unei iniţiative născute la Paris</SPAN><SPAN lang=FR
style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt"> </SPAN><SPAN lang=FR
style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial">în 1999, la <I>Forum des
Images</I> (Forumul Imaginilor) şi care a luat de atunci o dimensiune
internaţională. Prezentând în acest an a 10a sa ediţie în zilele de 7, 8,
9, 10 şi 11 mai 2008, Festivalul Filmelor foarte Scurte propune
aproximativ 50 de filme, într-o selecţie internaţională, proiectate
simultan în cele 23 oraşe din Romania,</SPAN><SPAN lang=FR
style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt"> </SPAN><SPAN lang=FR
style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial">precum şi în alte 70 de oraşe
din 17 ţări. După debutul spectaculos de anul trecut, la această ediţie,
România se distinge printr-o reprezentaţie puternică: este prima ţară ca
număr de oraşe participante, depăşind chiar şi Franţa.</SPAN></SPAN></P>

Filmelor foarte Scurte asigură promovarea creaţiilor audio-vizuale locale
şi încurajează creaţia prin intermediul programului „<STRONG><SPAN
style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial">Around the très Courts</SPAN></STRONG>”. O
invitaţie la candidaturi a fost lansată la nivel local şi naţional;
aceasta va permite să se prezinte publicului, dincolo de proiecţia
filmelor din competiţia oficială, numeroase producţii naţionale, oferind
un spaţiu destinat creativităţii şi originalităţii. Filmele alese pentru a
fi prezentate în cadrul Festivalului de la Timişoara vor fi propuse pentru
a participa la selecţia oficială a Festivalului Internaţional de Filme
Foarte Scurte 2009. <BR><BR>Sperăm astfel că Festivalul va fi o experienţă
unică, bogată şi plină de fantezie, atât pentru publicul român, pentru

International des Très Courts</SPAN></STRONG> et de faire de Timisoara

style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial">Le Festival des Très Courts
est une initiative née à Paris en 1999 au <I>Forum des Images</I> et qui a
pris depuis une dimension internationale. Présentant cette année sa 10ème
édition les 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 mai 2008, le Festival des Très Courts propose
une cinquantaine de films en sélection internationale projetés
simultanément dans 23 villes de Roumanie, tout comme dans 70 villes de 17
pays.</SPAN><SPAN lang=FR style="FONT-SIZE: 14pt; FONT-FAMILY: Georgia">
</SPAN><SPAN lang=FR style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial">Après le
début spectaculaire de l’année dernière, pour cette édition du Festival,
la Roumanie se distingue par une forte représentation : c’est le
premier pays comme nombre de villes participantes, en dépassant même la
France.</SPAN></SPAN>

style="FONT-WEIGHT: 400; FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial">Le Festival
des Très Courts assure aussi la promotion des créations audio-visuelles
locales et l’encouragement à la création à travers le programme
« <STRONG><SPAN style="FONT-FAMILY: Arial">Around the Très
Courts</SPAN></STRONG> ». Un appel à participation a été lancé au
niveau local et national ; il permettra de présenter au public, hors la
projection des films de la compétition officielle, de nombreuses
productions locales, offrant un espace destiné à la créativité et à
l’originalité. Les films choisis pour être présentés au Festival du Très
Courts à Timisoara seront proposés pour participer à la sélection
officielle du Festival International des Très Courts 2009.</SPAN></P>
