amber'08 body-process arts festival, the second installment of the <br>
largest arts and new media event in Turkey, is well on its way.<br>
<br>
This year's festival theme is "interpassive persona" and the <br>
objective is to approach today's digitalizing culture from a critical-<br>
artistic viewpoint through a multi-event platform that will include <br>
stage performances, interactive installations, workshops, artist <br>
presentations and seminars.<br>
<br>
Two separate calls for works for amber'08 has just been issued. One <br>
is for an interactive installation exhibit and the other is for an <br>
interactive games section.<br>
<br>
The call for interactive installations will aim for works that <br>
explore the festival theme. The works selected from among the <br>
submissions will be exhibited in amber'08.<br>
<br>

The second call concerns a special section of amber'08 on interactive <br>
games. This section will be implemented in cooperation with M2F <br>
CREATIONS, France. and will feature new games that operate on new <br>
interaction concepts that are not based on the mouse or keyboard. The <br>
player will literally participate and interact in the game by using <br>
his voice, body and movement in a variety of innovative ways. The <br>
works selected from among the submissions will be exhibited in the <br>
game section of amber'08.<br>
