Note that our definition of<br>camera based is very broad, and workshops as well as painitngs can be<br>housed in Flaggfabrikken as long as there is some small reference to the<br>camera... :)<br><br>We look forward to receiving lots and lots of interesting applications!<br><br>Take care, and hope all is well!<br>anne<br><br><br><br><br><br>CALL FOR APPLICATIONS<br>Flaggfabrikken international artist residency in Bergen, Norway<br>Flaggfabrikken – centre for photography and visual arts is offering an<br>opportunity for artists that work with camera based art to undertake a<br>three months residency in Bergen, Norway.<br><br>Next application date is October 1st 2008.<br><br>The residency is supported by the municipality of Bergen Flaggfabrikken<br>offer two residencies a year, one for the spring period and one for<br>autumn. October 1st 2008 we accept applications both for spri
ng (March-May<br>2009) and autumn (Sept-Nov 2009). Please inform us of which period you are<br>applying for and if you are applying for both periods.<br><br>Flaggfabrikken is an artist collective based in Bergen. In addition to<br>having our own studios and artist practice at Flaggfabrikken, we work in<br>different ways to promote camera based art locally and internationally.<br>For more information, please visit <a href="http://www.flaggfabrikken.net">www.flaggfabrikken.net</a>.<br><br>Flaggfabrikken will with the generous financial support from Bergen<br>Municipal offer the artist: studio, accommodation, travel expenses paid<br>and give a small grant towards covering other living expenses during the<br>artist’s stay. During the residency the artist is expected to give a talk<br>on his/her work for the members of Flaggfabrikken and local<br>artists/curators. In addition Flaggfabrikken suggests that the artist will<br>take the opportunity of showing work in collaboration wit
