<p>CALL FOR APPLICATIONS<br>
Flaggfabrikken international artist residency in Bergen, Norway<br>
Flaggfabrikken – centre for photography and visual arts is offering <br>
an opportunity for artists that work with camera based art to <br>
undertake a three months residency in Bergen, Norway.<br>
Next application date is October 1st 2008.<br>
The residency is supported by the municipality of Bergen<br>
Flaggfabrikken offer two residencies a year, one for the spring <br>
period and one for autumn. October 1st 2008 we accept applications <br>
both for spring (March-May) and autumn (Sept-Nov). Please<br>
inform us of which period you are applying for and if you are <br>
applying for both periods Flaggfabrikken is an artist collective <br>
based in Bergen. In addition to having our own studios and<br>
artist practice at Flaggfabrikken, we work in different ways to <br>
promote camera based art locally and internationally. For more <br>
information, please visit www.flaggfabrikken.<wbr>net. Flaggfabrikken will <br>
with the generous financial support from Bergen Municipal offer the <br>
artist: studio, accommodation, travel expenses paid and give a small <br>
grant towards covering other living expenses during the<br>
artist's stay. During the residency the artist is expected to give a <br>
talk on his/her work for the members of Flaggfabrikken and local <br>
artists/curators. In addition Flaggfabrikken suggests that the<br>
artist will take the opportunity of showing work in collaboration <br>
with a local institution.<br>

- up to 20 (preferably digital, 1024x768 px, 72 dpi) images of <br>
previous works<br>
- And/or a Dvd of video-art<br>
- Project proposal for the residency period (max 500 words)<br>
- Artist statement (max 500 words)<br>
- Updated cv (max 2 A4 pages)<br>
