Er wurde 2007 gegründet und führt sein Programm ab Ende April 2009 in neuen Räumlichkeiten fort. Unser Anliegen ist die Förderung junger nationaler und internationaler Künstlerinnen und Künstler. das weisse haus bietet Kunstschaffenden neben der Ausstellung ihrer Werke auch die notwendige Öffentlichkeitsarbei<wbr>t, die Konfrontation mit verschiedenen Schauplätzen und die Eingliederung in ein weitreichendes Netzwerk.<br>Das Jahresprogramm wird größtenteils aus Einreichungen im Zuge einer Ausschreibung zusammengestellt. Wir möchten dabei jene Projekte fördern, die progressive Aspekte aufweisen und sich auch einem erweitertem Publikum
eröffnen.<br>Eingereicht werden können Projektvorschlä<wbr>ge und Portfolios für folgende Vorhaben:<br><br>A) Ausstellungen (Einzel- und Gruppenausstellunge<wbr>n)<br>Wie schon im Vorjahr wird ausgewählten Künstlerinnen und Künstlern die Möglichkeit einer Einzelausstellung geboten. Andere Einreichungen werden für unsere Gruppenausstellunge<wbr>n berücksichtigt.<br><br>B) Projekträume<br>Mit dem Konzept der Projekträume, das zwischen klassischer Ausstellung und Ateliersituation angesiedelt ist, erweitern wir unser bisheriges Programm um eine zusätzliche Komponente. In unseren neuen Räumlichkeiten stehen dafür insgesamt 3 Räume zu je ca. 35 m2 zur Verfügung. Ausgewählte Künstlerinnen und Künstler haben hier über den Zeitraum von ca. 3 Monaten die Möglichkeit, im Rahmen unserer Aktivitäten verschiedene Arbeiten zu präsentieren, die auf die Gegebenheiten des Raums eingehen bzw. sich im Laufe der Zeit verändern und weiterentwickeln.<br><br>C)
Satelliten<br>Zusätzlich werden Ausstellungen und Präsentationen in Satelliten - temporär zur Verfügung stehenden Schauplätzen - stattfinden, für die aus dem Pool der Einreichungen laufend Künstlerinnen und Künstler auswählt werden.<br><br>Für alle Vorhaben können sich Kunstschaffende als Einzelpersonen oder als Gruppen bewerben. Die künstlerische Leitung des weissen haues wird aus den Einreichungen eine Auswahl treffen. It was founded in 2007 and will continue its program at a new location in April 2009. Our aim is the presentation and support of young Austrian and international artists. das weisse haus serves as a platform where artists can interact
with different spaces, present their work, attract essential publicity, and become integrated into various networks.<br>For our program of 2009, you may send project proposals and portfolios for:<br><br>A) Exhibitions (Solo and Group Exhibitions)<br>Like in 2008, selected artist will be given the opportunity for a solo exhibition. Other submissions will be included in our group exhibitions.<br><br>B) Project Spaces<br>With the concept of our project spaces - a mixture of conventional exhibition and studio situation - we are expanding our program with an additional element. In our new premises, 3 rooms with about<br>35 m2 are provided for this intention. Selected artists have the opportunity to present various works changing and developing by-and-by or works dealing with the room’s condition during 3 months. These spaces will be included in all our events, openings and will be accessable to public in agreement with the artists during our opening
hours.<br><br>C) Satellites<br>Further, exhibitions and presentations will take place in our satellites - temporary venues – for which artists are selected currently from the pool of submissions.<br><br>We are interested in supporting projects which represent interesting and progressive tendencies that can reach an extended public.
