Recognized curators from any nationality are invited to submit one or <BR>
more proposals for solo exhibitions with artists currently working in <BR>
the Middle East, North Africa or South Asia.<BR>
<BR>
Three submissions will be selected for the Abraaj Capital Art Prize <BR>
and each of these will receive $200,000 to cover production and <BR>
installation costs, catalogue, shipping and travel for both curator <BR>
and artist. Included in the budget will be a fixed fee of $15,000 for <BR>
the curator.<BR>
<BR>
Projects from the 2009 prize are currently on display at Art Dubai. <BR>
As Art Dubai is the Middle East's largest modern and contemporary <BR>
annual art fair, the unveiling during this event offers the winning <BR>
artists an unparalleled opportunity to widen their global reputation <BR>
and network. The works also will become part of the Abraaj Capital <BR>
corporate collection.<BR>
