<p style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt;text-align:justify" class="EC_MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:'Charcoal CY'">“ALBATROSS NEST”</span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:Arial"> is a project of Adam Nankervis within GOGOL<span style="color:red">FEST</span> Kyiv 2009 that explore the notion of fracture and
fractured states within the newly ruptured, raptured, broken in the current
global zeitgeist. Here we explore Orpheus' turning gaze and what we find are
testimonies to past present and past futures.</span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:13pt;font-family:Arial"></span></p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt;text-align:justify" class="EC_MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:13pt;font-family:'Times New Roman'"> </span></p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt;text-align:justify" class="EC_MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:'Charcoal CY'">“ALBATROSS NEST”</span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:13pt;font-family:Arial"> </span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:Arial">is
an exploration of spiritual, political, financial, territorial shifts and
dislocations; it is despair of the lost and the seduction of the found.</span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:13pt;font-family:Arial"></span></p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt;text-align:justify" class="EC_MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:13pt;font-family:Arial"> </span></p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt;text-align:justify" class="EC_MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:Arial">Within the project will be built an installation
of a tower of<i> spatial conduction</i>,
which like an albatross nest</span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:13pt;font-family:Arial"> </span><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:Arial">will be wrought with the works of artists, both
national and international.</span></p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt;text-align:justify" class="EC_MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:Arial"> </span></p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt;text-align:justify" class="EC_MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:Arial">“Nest” will be an autonomous structure so as you
can see into it from the third floor looking down into the space and will be
built within one of two chambers (1500sq meters each) of Mystetskyi Arsenal, Kyiv.</span></p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt;text-align:justify" class="EC_MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:13pt;font-family:Arial"> </span></p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt;text-align:justify" class="EC_MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:Arial">Here artists are invited in the construct of a
“nest” to flood the tower with a dialogue of saturation.</span></p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt;text-align:justify" class="EC_MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:Arial"> </span></p>
<p style="margin-bottom:0.0001pt;text-align:justify" class="EC_MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-family:Arial">This paradigm will be multidisciplinary:
painting, sculpture, video, sound installation, performative action, time based
work; and will bring together a ruptured choir of different dialogues. </span></p>

interventions within the superstructure and outside within the vaulted states
of the Arsenal. </span></p>
