Aceasta expozitie ne face sa redescoperim istoria Europei cu ajutorul
vârfului creionului sarcastic, tandru sau câteodata feroce al marilor
ilustratori si caricaturisti. Rodul unei bogatii trecute, Europa actuala
este rezultatul evolutiilor contrastate. Perceptia unei identitati comune
popoarelor si natiunilor europene, regasita la unii gânditori si oameni
politici înca din Antichitate, a avut nevoie de timp sa se
impuna.</SPAN></SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><SPAN lang=RO
style="FONT-WEIGHT: 400; FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial">Caricatura,
care se dezvolta începând cu Revolutia franceza, ne permite sa masuram
evolutia acestei perceptii. Sensibilizând publicul larg, desenul satiric
dezvaluie de fapt starea opiniilor si sentimentelor colective. Mai ales în
secolul IX si la începutul secolului XX caricatura cunoaste vârsta sa de
aur.</SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><SPAN lang=RO
style="FONT-WEIGHT: 400; FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial">Expozitia
prezinta, prin caricaturile inspirate din douazeci de tari ale Europei,
etapele care au permis statelor europene sa construiasca o pace durabila
între ele. De la Revolutia franceza si pâna în zilele noastre Europa a
fost marcata de numeroase razboaie, crize, tensiuni si de perioade
instabile de pace.</SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><SPAN lang=RO
style="FONT-WEIGHT: 400; FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial">În secolul
IX miscarile de eliberare nationala lupta contra traditiilor monarhice si
hegemoniilor teritoriale. Rivalitatile între natiuni conduc la Primul
Razboi Mondial. Pacea care rezulta de aici este fragila si efervescenta pe
care ea o suscita provoaca Al Doilea Razboi Mondial.</SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><SPAN lang=RO
style="FONT-WEIGHT: 400; FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial">De la
sfârsitul acestui conflict planetar si mai ales de la Declaratia din 9 mai
1950 al lui Robert Schuman, Europa a intrat într-o noua era, aceea a
pacii.</SPAN></P>

riche passé, l'Europe actuelle est le résultat d'évolutions contrastées.
La perception d'une identité commune aux peuples et nations européennes,
si on la retrouve chez certains penseurs et hommes politiques dès
l'Antiquité, a mis du temps à s'imposer.</SPAN></FONT></SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><SPAN
style="FONT-WEIGHT: 400"><FONT face=Arial size=2><SPAN lang=RO>La
caricature qui se développe à partir de la Révolution française, permet de
mesurer l'évolution de cette perception. Touchant un large punlic, le
dessin satirique révèle en effet l'état des opinions et des sentiments
collectifs. C'est surtout vrai au XIXème et au début du XXème siècle, car
la caricature connaît alors son âge d'or. </SPAN></FONT></SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><SPAN
style="FONT-WEIGHT: 400"><FONT face=Arial size=2><SPAN
lang=RO>L'exposition présente à travers des caricatures issues d'une
vingtaine de pays d'Europe les étapes qui ont permis aux Etats européens
de construire une paix durable entre eux. De la Révolution française à nos
jours, l'Europe a en effet été marquée par des guerres, des crises, des
tensions et des périodes de paix instables. </SPAN></FONT></SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><SPAN
style="FONT-WEIGHT: 400"><FONT face=Arial size=2><SPAN lang=RO>Au XIXème
siècle, les mouvements de libération nationale luttent contre les
traditions monarchiques et les hégémonie territoriales. Les rivalités
entre nations conduisent à la Première Guerre mondiale. La paix qui en
résulte est fragile et l'effervescence qu'elle suscite provoque la Seconde
Guerre mondiale. </SPAN></FONT></SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoNormal style="TEXT-ALIGN: justify"><SPAN
style="FONT-WEIGHT: 400"><FONT face=Arial size=2><SPAN lang=RO>Depuis la
fin de ce conflit planétaire, et surtout depuis la Déclaration solennelle
du 9 mai 1950 prononcée par Robert Schuman, l'Europe est entrée dans une
nouvelle ère, celle de la paix. <BR></SPAN></FONT></SPAN></P>
