■■ 1. CTM10: Creative Independents Network Market [outreach]<br>
<br>
On Sat. 6.2.2010 Piksel will be present at the Creative Independents Network<br>

■■ 2. CIRCUIT BENDING [workshop]<br>
<br>
22nd-26th March, Piksel has invited sound artist and instrument maker,<br>
Audun Eriksen, to host a circuit bending workshop in Bergen.<br>
The 5 day workshop aims to give the participants the opportunity of<br>
learning how to short-circuit existing audio toys and instruments to reveal<br>
new soundsscapes.<br>

■■ 3. PIKSEL PLENUM [seminar]<br>
<br>
Electronic art is more closely connected to the development of technology than<br>
any other art genre. New technology creates new opportunities for artists and<br>
developers, and with that follows the discussion of copyright, IPR and<br>
distribution rights.<br>
<br>
In 2009 Piksel started a seminar series, Piksel Plenum, that set focus on such<br>
socio-political questions. In 2010 we plan to host 3 Plenum events, by<br>
inviting various thinkers and artists to give presentations and be involved in<br>
discussions at Landmark, Bergen Kunsthall.<br>
<br>
Piksel Plenum #1 2010 is taking place in April, and this year we work with<br>
ambient seminar as the form for the Plenum events. The immersive character of<br>
this type of seminar places the audience in the centre of attention, and in<br>
addition to presentations the evenings will include visual and musical<br>
references presented through a relevant selection of media and communication<br>
technology.'<br>

■■ 4. META.MORF<br>
Piksel will curate one of the cinema programs for the Meta.Morf Biennale in<br>
Trondheim in collaboration with TEKS (Trondheim Electronic Art Centre).<br>
Meta Morf is a biennale for arts and technology taking place in Trondheim<br>
(NO) Oct. 7th - Nov. 7th. This years theme is "Brave New World"<br>

Piksel is an international event for artists and developers working with<br>
Free/Libre and Open Source technologies in artistic practice.<br>
Part workshop, part festival, it is organised in Bergen, Norway, and<br>
involves participants from more than a dozen countries exchanging ideas,<br>
coding, presenting art and software projects, doing workshops, performances<br>
and discussions on the aesthetics and politics of FLOSS & art.<br>
