Call for artists


For the first issue of new Berlin based art magazine ed. by Aaron Moulton in spring 2011, a group of artists is organizing a ´Special Offer Open Call´.


Some page space of the issue will be dedicated to a group show of artists challenging the opportunity to publish a classified ad.
However related to the arts scene – if offering an artwork cleaning service or selling invisible busts without noses or a manhunt for the hot blonde guy you have seen yesterday at MOMA – the ad, fictional or not, should consist of textual and/or visual elements and should contain a contact to be administered by the artist himself. It should not contain your real name.


Submissions will be accepted as .doc (for text based ads), for visual based submissions .tif or .jpg with a minimum of 300 dpi, colour submissions have to be in CMYK. Visual ads should be in ISO-format, minimum size is ISO A10 (26mm × 37mm 1.02in × 1.46in), maximum is ISO A6 (105mm × 148mm, respectively 4.13in × 5.83in). Submission language is English.
Beside the project proposal applications should contain your contact details.

Submissions will be accepted not after 8th of March 2011.


With your application you will accept the publication of your ad in a limited issue presented in Berlin on spring 2011.
