Newsround



Are there new projects in progress or organisational updates you would like
to share with IETM  members and meeting participants? Or are you looking
for new partners or collaborators? IETM is now asking for applications for
the newsround at our Athens meeting and we encourage you to join in!

The *Newsround session* is a series of short (*max 3 min*) presentations of
current projects from existing members, as well as a space for new
members/first timers to introduce themselves and their organisations. The
benefit of this space is to gain an overview and share new models and best
practices being realised within the network. Newsround is a space for
knowledge sharing, not for advertising or marketing new work, so please
respect this.

*How to participate?*

Complete the form provided below and send it to ietm at ietm.org before our *30
September deadline*. We will respond with a final confirmation several days
before the meeting to confirm whether your presentation will be included in
this year’s newsround, as well as providing information on the time slot
you will have in the presentation schedule. We will try our best to
accommodate everyone, which means that you really must be mindful of the
very short time frame you are given for presenting.

Helpful questions to consider while creating your presentation proposal:

•    How can IETM members assist you?
•    What is the most interesting part of your project for IETM members?
•    Who, What, Why, Where, and When is your project?
•    How can you present your project in a short amount of time without
technical support?

To support all presentations, we will distribute handouts that list a short
description of each presentation with according contact details, which can
help in cutting down on the time of your presentation and allow you to
focus on the core themes.
