Call for Proposals on Cultural Mapping

>From 28 to 30 May 2014, the Centre for Social Studies-CES, a Laboratory
associated to the University of Coimbra, Portugal, is organizing an
International Conference on "Mapping Culture: Communities, Sites and
Stories". This event is intended to explore both conventional and
alternative approaches to mapping cultures and communities. Among other
themes, it will address community involvement in various phases of the
research process, from gathering data to modes of presenting 'findings'.
Conference organisers invite academics, researchers, public
administrators, architects, planners and artists to contribute with their
papers and panel/workshop proposals. The deadline for receipt of proposals
is 14 February 2014.
