Salutări din Moldova este rezultatul unei analize concepute cu scopul  
de a iniția un dialog deschis cu publicul, aceasta fiind o reflecție  
a diversității și ambiguității teritoriul Moldovei.

Care sunt orientările care dictează și definesc frontierele noastre?  
Etnografia, istoria și granițele politice sunt doar unii dintre  
factorii care construiesc și modelează o regiune, actualitatea fiind  
mult mai complexă în condițiile în care teritoriul e divizat socio- 
politic. De aceea acest proiect propune să fie o abordare care pune la  
îndoială diferențele și asemănările aceluiași teritoriu, creând  
o metaforă despre ce este națiunea în ziua de azi.

Cu acest scop au fost invitați artiști din localitățile Chișinău,  
Tiraspol, Iași și Bacău pentru a reprezenta această nouă abordare  
teritorială și a crea un peisaj imaginar, folosindu-se de astfel de  
instrumente artistice precum fotografia, performance-ul și arta video.  
Ei ne invită la o călătorie pentru a înțelege nevoile și  
dorințele fiecărui individ în viața lui cotidiană. Fiecare  
expresie artistică propune o nouă perspectivă intimă și  
personală, sugerând diverse teme și simboluri deschise pentru  
interpretările fiecărui privitor.

Expoziția își propune să promoveze lucrările tinerilor artiști  
contemporani, lăsând la o parte teritorialitatea politică,  
deschizînd scena unor noi idei care adaugă valori pozitive unui  
dialog multicultural. Totodată este abordat conceptul de identitate a  
Moldovei, care pune la îndoială unde începe și unde se termină  
granița dintre politică și poezia națiunii.

Greetings from Moldova is the result of an analysis that was born with  
the aim of initate an open dialogue with the audience, it is a  
reflection of the diversity and the ambiguity of Moldovan territory.

Which are the guidelines that dictate and define our borders?  
Ethnography, history and the political borders are just some factors  
that build and give shape to one region. But the present times it  
makes more complex, nowadays we find the territory socially and  
politically divided. That is why this project deal and want to be an  
approach with the citizens questioning about the differences and  
similarities of the same territory, creating a metaphor of what is the  
moldovan nationality today.

For that reason young moldovan guest artists gathered from different  
areas like Chisinau, Tiraspol, Iasi and Bacau, pose a renewed focus on  
the territory, creating an imaginary landscape using photography,  
performance and video. They invite to run through a journey which  
leads us to understand what are the needs and desires of each  
individual in his daily life. Every artistic expression suggests a new  
intimate and personal point of view on the subject, suggesting  
different topics and symbols, open to the interpretation of each viewer.

The exhibition seeks to promote the dissemination of contemporary  
young artists, leaving aside the territoriality issues, oppening the  
scene with new values, adding positive sense about the current  
multiculturalism dialogue. Moreover it puts into question the Moldovan  
identity, uncertainly it proposes where begins and where ends the  
border of the politic and poetry issues of the nation.
