Să gândim orașul – să facem orașul

Academie stundențească internațională în și pentru Chișinău
3-9 mai 2015

Din 3 și până în 9 mai la Universitatea de Stat din Moldova va avea  
loc o academie internațională pentru studenți cu titlul „Să  
gândim orașul – să facem orașul” pe tema dezvoltării urbane  
creative.În cadrul acestei academii de studii se întâlnesc studenți  
din cinci țări a Europei de Est pentru a elabora noi perspective  
asupra modului în care ne raportăm la orașele noastre.

În centrul academiei stă dialogul și realizarea autonomă a unui  
proiect.Mai întâi studenții vor analiza diverse inițiative în  
spațiul public din Chișinău și alte orașe. Mai apoi concep în  
colaborare cu artiști și alți specialiști proiecte, acțiuni și  
manifestări artistice (spectacole). Chișinăul va deveni astfel o  
parte importantă a programului. Scopul este o confruntare angajată cu  
spațiul social al orașului nostru, pe care trebuie să îl formăm,  
gândi și ameliora împreună.

Punctul culminant al academiei sunt o discuție cu privire la  
societatea civilă în Republica Moldova pe 6 mai și prezentarea  
proiectelor studențești pe 9 mai în Zpațiu (str. Al. Șciusev 103,  
Chișinău).

Proiectul ‘Să gândim orașul – să facem orașul’ este o  
inițiativă organizată și finanțată în cadrul programei de  
lectori Fundației Robert Bosch.

„Să gândim orașul – să facem orașul” este realizat în  
colaborare cu Asociația Oberliht și cu sprijinul Centrului Cultural  
German ACCENTE din Chișinău, Goethe-Institut București, Spelleken  
Associates și Heducon.

City thinking – City making

International academic workshop for and in Chisinau
May 3-9, 2015

“City Thinking – City Making“ is an international and  
interdisciplinary Summer Academy on public and urban space. Over the  
course of eight days, 30 students and 8 lecturers from Moldova,  
Germany, Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, and Georgia together with local  
experts from the cultural and NGO sector meet with the aim to promote  
the discourse on urban and public spaces in post-soviet countries and  
develop concepts and methods for its exploration and creative  
appropriation.

In seminars and workshops In half-day workshops and seminars, the  
participants get to know artistic and communitarian initiatives in  
public space which were conducted in Chisinau and other cities and  
discuss methods of shaping urban development in sustainable ways.  
Thus, they acquire the theoretical and methodical skills to plan and  
realise projects of their own at different locations in the city.  
These may range from research projects investigating and documenting  
the use and appropriation of areas and buildings, to temporary spaces  
like cafés or swap shops, alternative design concepts and models for  
public spaces, or artistic performances and interventions.

The project is an initiative by German lecturers in Moldova in the  
frame of the lectureship program of the Robert Bosch Foundation and is  
organised and conducted in collaboration with young artistsʻ  
association Oberliht. It is funded by the Robert Bosch Foundation.

The most interessting part of the workshop are the discussions about  
civil society in Republica Moldova on may 6 and the presentation of  
the student projects on may 9 in Zpatiu societatea civilă în
