EDU-ART 2020 / CERCETARE ARTISTICĂ ȘI ACTIVISM CULTURAL LA PERIFERIE
Oraș Iluminat – apel de participare
Atelier în domeniul fotografiei experimentale, condus de Ruben Hollinger [CH] și Ramin Mazur [MD], cu participarea lui Maxim Polyakov [MD]
12 – 26 septembrie 2020
Zpațiu-Atelier (Casa Zemstvei, str. Al. Șciusev 103) / Apartamentul Deschis (str. București 68/1), Chișinău

Invităm studenți și artiști din toate domeniile să exploreze periferiile sociale sau geografice cu ajutorul camerelor foto. Participanții vor face fotografii la tema „periferiei” și vor lucra la reprezentarea conceptelor cu ajutorul unor obiecte care vor fi ulterior fotografiate. Participanții vor beneficia de instruire de bază în tehnica fotografiei, lucrul cu lumina în aer liber și în studiou, care pot fi utile în lucrul artistic. Totodată, vom amenaja un simplu studiou pentru fotografie, care va putea fi folosit pentru viitoarele proiecte. Pe final vom încerca să materializăm eforturile într-un set digital de stickere sau gif-uri animate, care vor fi prezentate sub forma unei expoziții într-un spațiu urban și pe un site web comun.

Va fi posibil de lucrat individual sau în grup. Participanții ar putea aduce, după posibilitate, o cameră foto, un bliț pentru cameră și un laptop pentru editarea imaginilor.

Acest atelier este o platformă comună pentru a împărtăși energii și idei – suntem în căutarea unor participanți curioși, a unor opinii și energii noi.

Atelierul prevede în jur de 10 sesiuni / întâlniri de lucru și ieșiri în teren. Limba de lucru este engleza.

Doritorii de a se înscrie la atelier sunt rugați să completeze acest formular <https://forms.gle/pCNxkXvwmf93WhNS6> până la data de 4 septembrie 2020. Participanții care s-au înscris vor primi instrucțiuni prin email pe data de 8 septembrie 2020.

Taxa de participare
Participarea la atelier este gratuită, deoarece noi credem că accesul la educație trebuie asigurat tuturor doritorilor, indiferent de statutul lor economic sau social. Participanții ar trebui să-și acopere singuri costurile aferente călătoriei internaționale, cazării la Chișinău și alte costuri legate de participarea lor.

EDU-ART 2020 / ART RESEARCH AND CULTURAL ACTIVISM ON THE PERIPHERY
City in the Spotlight  – call for participation
experimental photography workshop led by Ruben Hollinger [CH] and Ramin Mazur [MD], with the participation of Maxim Polyakov [MD]

September 12 – 26, 2020
Zpace-Workshop (Zemstva House, 103 Al. Sciusev Street) / Flat Space (68/1 București str.), Chisinau

We invite students and artists from all fields to explore social or geographical peripheries with the help of photo-cameras. Participants will make photographs on the topic of “periphery” and will be representing concepts through images and photographed objects. Participants will receive basic training in photography, outdoor lighting, and studio lighting, which can be useful in the artwork. In addition, we will install a basic photo studio that can be used for future projects. By the end of the workshop, we will try to materialize our efforts in a set of stickers or digital animated gifs, which will be presented in the form of an exhibition in urban space and on a common website.

It will be possible to work alone or in a group. Participants should bring, if possible, a camera, a camera flash, and a laptop for editing images.

This workshop is a common platform to share energies and ideas in a playful atmosphere – we are looking for curious participants, new opinions, and energies.

There will be 10 sessions / working sessions and field trips. The working language will be English.

Participation fee
Participation in the workshop is free because we believe that access to education should be provided to all who wish, regardless of their economic or social status. Participants should cover the costs of international travel and medical insurance, accommodation in Chisinau, and other costs related to their own participation.

In our turn, we will provide hand sanitizer, tools, large enough workspaces, and the possibility to work outdoors too, in order to ensure physical distancing of 1,5 m.
