6th International Short Film Festival /In the Palace/, Balchik, Bulgaria

Dear Film Professionals and Students

This is a call for entries to the 6th International Short Film Festival
/In the Palace/, Balchik, Bulgaria!

The deadline for submission of international films is 15 April 2008. For
bulgarian productions is 15.05.2008

Entries postmarked past this date will not be considered for selection.

If selected your film can compete for the following awards, given by the
International Jury:

Main competiton:

Best Fiction Award

Best Animation Award

Best Documentary Award

Best story

Best cinematographer

Best director

Special Mention

and the Grand Prix, awarded by the Critics.



Students competition (only for bulgarian students):

Best Fiction Award

Best Animation Award

Best Documentary Award



Tv competiton


In main competition may take part international and bulgarian production
of professionals and not.

In student`s competition may take part only bulgarian students.

In tv competition may take part international and bulagrian tv
productions till 30 min.

In the competitions may take part as individual as institutional.

the 6th International Short Film Festival /In the Palace /Balchik,
Bulgaria

Competitive festival open to students and professional filmmakers

Deadline for submitting films for selection is 15 April 2008 (Send it on
video file type (*.avi), video compression: dv/dvcam, frame size
720:576, frame rate 25 fps, audio: uncompressed, sample rate: 48 000 Hz,
sample type 16 bit, channels:stereo)

Documents for participation:
completely filled and sighed entry form; synopsis of the film and
information about the production in English; a dialogue list in English;
two still photographs of the director (try avoiding sending us boring
passport photos); three stills of the film for web, catalogue and press
use; other press and promotional materials

Sections:
three competitive programmes; workshops; seminars; master classes;

No Entry Fee for competitive programmes, workshops, seminars or master
classes
