BEARSPACE Gallery is offering exhibition specific internships.  We are
looking for motivated individuals to assist in exhibition management for our
2008 Gallery Schedule.
About the Gallery:
BEARSPACE is a recently established contemporary art gallery situated on
thriving and urban Deptford High Street, in South East London. BEARSPACE
shows the cutting edge of emerging talent, promoting recently established
artists responding to contemporary stimulus and topics with wit and
innovation in a range of media.

BEARSPACE has gained attention by producing vibrant exhibitions, whilst
maintaining and developing a business like attitude towards artists and
artwork, identifying promising work by artists and promoting this on an
international scale.

Exhibition Management Internship:

   * Each internship will last the duration of an exhibition, to show
     the planning, coordination and installation of an exhibition.
   * Interns will work with the curatorial staff and exhibiting
     artists.  Duties include working as a liaison for the Gallery,
     assisting in Press for the exhibition, invigilation of Gallery and
     helping with installation.
   * Must have Microsoft Office skills, a good all-around attitude and
     most importantly an interest in contemporary art in London.
   * Individuals will be responsible to work 2 afternoons a week during
     Gallery hours (12.30-5.00)- every Saturday and the other, either a
     Wednesday, Thursday or Friday (flexible to availability).
