The Fundación Marcelino Botín awards Visual Arts Grants for study,
research and the undertaking of individual projects in the sphere of
artistic work. Artists may be any nationality.
This Spanish institution also opened the workshop. It will be imparted by
Antoni Muntadas with the collaboration or architect Juan Herreros.
The Visual Arts Grants are education, research and personal project aids
that end with the organization of an exhibition in Santander and the
edition of a catalogue. The call is open to individuals of any
nationality. Applicants for study grants must be between 23 and 40 years
old. There is no age limit for the research grants.
Stipend
.- Not involving a change of residence: 16.000 euros.
.- Involving relocation in a country other than your current residence:
24.000 euros.
.- Involving relocation in United States of America: 28.000 euros.

The aforementioned amounts include trips, accommodation, maintenance,
studio rent, etc. These amounts will be incremented to include medical
insurance and, in cases of study, the registration fees of the chosen
Education Centre, pending approval, will be covered by the Fundación
Marcelino Botín.
15 artists will be selected to work at the Villa Iris farm in Santander
between June 30 and July 11, 2008. The workshop will be in Spanish and
English.

Fundación Marcelino Botín Bourses et projets de Workshop d'arts visuels

La Fundación Marcelino Botín financera une bourse d'études dans le champ
des arts visuels pour l'étude, la recherche et l'entreprise de projets
individuels dans le cadre de la production artistique. Artistes de toute
nationalité peuvent y participer.
Cette institution espagnole organise aussi un workshop. Il sera tenu par
Antoni Muntadas en collaboration avec l'architecte Juan Herreros.
Les Bourses d'Arts Visuels sont des aides pour l'éducation, la recherche
et les projets personnels qui visent à organiser une exposition à
Santander et la publication d'un catalogue. Le concours est ouverte aux
artistes de toute nationalité. Les candidates aux bourses d'études doivent
avoir un âge compris entre le 23 et le 40 ans. Les bourses pour la
recherche n'ont pas de limites d'âge
Bourse
.- Sans change de résidence: ? 16.000.
.- Avec déménagement dans un pays différent de celui de résidence : ? 24.000.
.- Déménagement aux Etats-Unis: ? 28.000.

Le susmentionné comprend: les voyages, l'hébergement, la maintenance, le
loyer du studio etc. Ce total augmentera à fin d'y inclure l'assurance
médicale; pour les étudiants les frais de registration du centre
d'Education Choisi seront pris en charge par la Fundación Marcelino Botín.
15 artistes seront sélectionnés pour travailler à la ferme Villa Iris
entre le 30 de juin et le 11 de juillet, 2008. Le workshop sera en
espagnole et anglais.
