Supliment Oberliht in #15SdU (Iulie 2009)

Suplimentul Oberliht din numarul 15 al revistei SDU prezinta un text  
de Natasha Bodrozic „Posibilitatea (intelegerii) orasului” care se  
refera la actiunea celor doi artisti Tonka Malekovic si Ion Fisticanu,  
interprinsa la inceputul lunii iulie, ce a constat dintr-un joc de  
construire a unor orase imaginare. Textul vine sa explice intentia si  
sensul acestui joc, incearcă sa ofere o noua intelegere a orasului ca  
spatiu intim. In Supliment puteti gasi de asemenea impresiile Tonkai  
in urma realizarii acestui proiect, felul in care a perceput Chisinaul  
in tot acest timp. Totodata veti putea citi Jurnalul construirii de  
orase, cu detaliile acestei actiuni.

"In opinia mea, Chisinaul este orasul texturilor spontane si  
suprafetelor intense, pline de micro-locatii uitate sau neglijate din  
spatiul public", spune Tonka. "In loc sa le privim printr-o prisma  
negativa (situatia economica dificila / lipsa de fonduri pentru  
cultivarea si reglementarea spatiului public), ele trebuie percepute  
ca situri inca necucerite, libere si cu mai multe posibilitati decat  
unitatile cultivate si introduse intr-un cadru fix. Locatiile  
nedefinite si ignorate lasa posibilitatea inscrierii unui nou  
continut, in timp ce spatiile perfect organizate, supra-reglementate,  
conectate in interiorul sistemelor si retelelor de ordine, conduc la  
paralizie si la atrofierea gandurilor, descurajand participarea  
(civila) si (de)constructia creativa."

Oberliht, un spatiu de 4 pagini A3 dedicat artei si culturii  
contemporane din Moldova, care apare impreuna cu revista SdU (stare de

Suplimentele Oberliht pot fi descarcate si in format PDF la adresa de

Oberliht Supplement in #15SoE (July 2009)

The Oberliht Supplement published in the 15th issue of SoE magazine  
presents a text by Natasa BODROZIC „The possibility of  
(understanding) the city” that makes reference to the public action  
undertaken by artists Tonka MALEKOVIC and Ion FISTICANU in the  
beginning of July 2009 in a form of a play of building imaginary  
cities. The text explains the intention of the artists and the sense  
of the play, offering a new understanding to the city as an intimate  
space. In the Supplement one can also find Tonka’s impressions  
regarding the project and the way she perceived Chisinau during her  
stay, and read the journal of constructing cities presented with many  
detailes.

„In my opinion, Chisinau is the city of spontaneous textures and  
vivid surfaces full of forgotten or neglected micro-locations in  
public space“, Tonka says. „Instead of observing them through a  
negative prism (dire economic situation / lack of funds for the  
cultivation and regulation of public space), they should be perceived  
as the sites that are still unconquered, free and much more potent  
than the cultivated and framed units. Undefined and ignored locations  
leave the possibility of inscribing new content, while perfectly  
organized, over-regulated spaces, connected within the networked  
systems of order, lead to paralysis and atrophy of thoughts,  
discouraging (civil) participation and creative (de)construction.“

supplement, a space of 4 pages A3 dedicated to contemporary art and
