INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION _ DANCE & NEW TECHNOLOGIES for International
Digital Arts Festival of Enghien-les-Bains (France), 11 > 19 JUNE 2010

For the 5th edition of the Bains numériques digital arts international
festival (11-19 June 2010), the centre des arts is organising an
international competition for creations mixing “dance” and “new
technologies”.

This international call for project proposals is the first step of the
competition and aims at pre-selecting hybrid stage forms, in the process
of being created. After examination of the application forms, artistic
committees will select eight international projects, including one created
on the African continent. These selected pieces will be presented in a
“condensed” form at the Bains numériques#5 festival from 17 to 19 June
2010. The selected teams of artists will be auditioned by a jury, in
public, over those three days. Two of the eight works presented will be
awarded prizes at the closing ceremony: one “Grand Prize” and one “Prize
for Creation”, each prize being associated with a grant and residence time
at the centre des arts.
