2009 Call for proposals / Deadline January 31, 2009

1.    ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE, RESEARCH AND CREATION
Digital image manipulation in contemporary art and large-format
digital printing.

2.    EXHIBITION PROJECTS (artists and curators)
SAGAMIE will produce a publication accompanying each exhibition
project.
CARFAC/RAAV fee will be paid to the artists.

3.    PUBLISHING RESIDENCIES
Creation projects using the book as the medium and art object.

4. LONG-TERM PROJECTS
The SAGAMIE Centre is interested in working with artists to develop
long-term research and creation projects that last one or two years.
During this period, the artist will have several successive residency
periods.  The corpus produced will be presented in a solo exhibition,
and the organization will produce a publication describing the
project's development.


The proposal must include :
1.    Clearly indicate the program for which you are applying
(Program : 1, 2, 3, or 4).
2.    Indicate if you are under or over 35 years old.
3.    Description of the project (residency, exhibition,
publication)    (maximum: 1 page).
4.    Artistic approach    (maximum: 1 page).
5.    CV    (maximum: 3 pages).
6.    Visual documentation : small images (about 5x7" at 72 dpi) on a
CD; slides; prints; or other.
7.    Publishing: Description of collaborators, Curricula vitae of
collaborators (author or other) if needed.
8.    A self-addressed stamped envelope if you wish the proposal to
be returned.
